Purging Module Codes
You can purge the system of unused module codes (codes not assigned to an object on a module design). This may be as a result of multiple module code assignation passes or design changes. To make project data cleaner and more manageable, you can identify and delete these redundant codes automatically. The action may be run both at project and design level.
Procedure
Press Space Bar and enter Purge Functional or Production Module Codes.Note To run the purge action at project level, see Purging Redundant Module Codes at Project Level.
If the system finds unused codes it opens the Select Unused Codes For Removal Dialog Box, otherwise it reports that it has found no unused codes.
Add, or remove codes (including Technical Module Codes) from the list to be purged using the relevant buttons on the Select Unused Codes For Removal dialog box.
Click OK, to confirm the purging of the selected codes. The codes are removed as applicable codes on the designs and removed from the module code manager. Alternatively, click Cancel, to reopen the module code manager to restore the purged codes. Any codes already removed from designs can not be restored.
