Adding a Property to a Device

You can add a property to a device and save amendments into your component library.

Procedure

1. Select the device which you wish to edit from the Component Device List window and click the edit icon to access the edit mode. The Edit Device dialog box is displayed.

2. Click the > symbol in the Properties field.

   Note: Properties must have previously been defined in your library for the device "type code".

3. Update the relevant property details.

4. Click the save icon to save your updates. The properties specified are added to the device and saved in the Component Library.
