Verifying the Order Matching

The “Validate node component graphics layering” Design Rule Check (DRC) and Set Layer Order action check the size and position of all the component graphics along the y axis in relation to the layer order of the components, to ensure the correct assembly order.

To respect the order matching, the intersections of the component graphics with the y axis, on both sides of the bundle, must be in the same order as the layer order of the components.

The graphic layering is invalid if the order of intersections, on at least one side of the bundle, is different than the layer number order of the components.

See DRC Error Messages for a description of the order matching errors and when the intersections cannot be determined.
