Adding a Wire-End Component

You can add components, such as labels, from the library to the ends of a wire.

Procedure

Right-click a wire in the Harness Design Browser and select Wires.

The Edit Wires Dialog Box is displayed.

Select the wire to which you want to add wire-end components from the Wires list.
Click the Edit icon () in the components panel for the required wire end. The Wire End Components dialog box displays.
Click the Add button. The Part Selection Dialog Box displays, search for the required part and click Insert.Wire End Components dialog box displays, showing the selected part.
To add another wire end component, click Add, and repeat Step 4, otherwise click OK.The Edit Wires dialog box displays.
Click Apply.

The wire end component is added.

Note

Use the Edit Wire End Component / Edit Multicore End Component dialog box to its details.

You can remove a wire end component by clearing the check box on the Wire End Components dialog box.
