Selecting Specific

Objects on a Diagram

You can select specific objects on a diagram to perform the same action on them.

Procedure

Determine the action you want to take:

If you want to... Do the following:
Select multiple objects of any type Click and drag to form a box around the objects to select.
Select multiple objects of one or more particular types Select one instance of each type of object you want to select. Press Shift. Click and drag to form a box around the objects to select.

Examples

To select object name text only, select one instance of name text, and then use Shift+click and drag around the objects.

In the following example, the device and pin names are selected without the devices and pins themselves being selected.
