Mix Rate

Mix rates define what percentage of vehicles will be produced with a particular vehicle model. For example, if have 2 vehicle models LHD and RHD, LHD may be 75% of what is built, with RHD 25% of what is built.

A mix rate can never be negative.

If any vehicle models do not have a defined mix rate, the system calculates an even distribution of the remaining unallocated percentage. For example, if the defined mix rates for vehicle models add up to 70%, and there are three vehicle models with no defined mix rates, the system calculates a mix rate of 10% for each of those three models (that is, the unallocated 30% evenly distributed across them).

Capital Configuration Optimizer uses the mix rates when calculating cost.
