Edit Splice Dialog Box

To access: Press Space Bar and enter Edit (with a splice selected), right-click a splice on the diagram and select Edit Splice, or double-click a splice on the design. All fields are described in Add Splice Dialog Box with the exception of the Variant Positions tab, which is only available when editing a splice.

Used to edit a splice on a design.

Objects

Field	Description
Variant Positions Tab	Use to specify alternative nodes at which the splice will be placed within each derivative of a composite harness.
Node Name	The node, selected using the Node Selection Dialog Box, at which the variant position splice is placed within the derivative defined by the Option Expression. Read-only.
Option Expression	Specifies the derivatives in which the variant position splice exists at the specified node. To create or edit an option expression, click the ellipsis (...) button to the right of the field and use the Edit Option Expression Dialog Box. Alternatively, enter or modify an option expression directly within the field. Mandatory. If the node selected already has an Option Expression defined, this will be offered by default, although it can be overridden.
