Associating a Modular Insert

You can assign a connector as a sub-connector to one of the positions specified for a modular connector housing or parent.

Procedure

1. Right-click the connector to be associated as a sub-connector (on the diagram or in the Design Browser) and select Associate Connector. The Associate Connector dialog box displays all connectors on the design with one or more modular positions defined.

2. Click the plus (+) symbol to view the available positions.

3. Select the position to insert the sub-connector.

4. Click OK.A message is displayed to confirm that the sub-connector is moved to a new position on the bundle configuration.

5. Click Yes to confirm.

Results

• The sub-connector is repositioned according to the settings configured for the currently applied style set. See also the Capital Diagram Styling User Guide.
